Loft Carpentry Raynes Park

Eaves Storage, Wardrobes & Desk - Loft Room

Our Raynes Park SW20 clients had a recently completed loft conversion which had a lot of potential for storage. After a Covid Safe visit to the property (social distancing, face masks, sanitiser and with the Velux windows open) we agreed on a mixture of cupboard and drawer space with a low height top/shelf eaves storage, a raked top wardrobe and to create a small office area with a desk and shelving in the alcove.

Working on site - Covid Safe

Working in the loft room, we were separated from our clients, (who were working from home), but we still kept the roof windows open. We were also careful to clean all door handles and light switches we had contact with using an antibacterial surface wipe.

Construction

The eaves storage were constructed as extra depth units (800mm deep) to create a useful shelf top as requested. We constructed the wardrobe as a three-door unit with the taller carcasses having storage shelves and hanging space. The office space had a desk with cabinet storage underneath as well as wall shelving.

Door Style & Ready For Painting

Our client wanted shaker style doors and the carpentry work to be left unfinished for their painter, who will be decorating the hall and loft space early in the new year.
