Following the expansion of our coverage area, we have recently fitted laminate flooring to a house in Oxted.
The project
The new homeowners wanted to replace the existing carpet in their 5 x 4m lounge/dining room with timber flooring. After the initial consultation, we recommended Oak effect, quickstep, heavy traffic, waterproof laminate. The existing subfloor was concrete, so we recommended 5mm Royal Sonic Gold Damp Proof Membrane, which also provides a good level of insulation. We took care of the supply of all materials.
Before the install date, our client had cleared the room ready for us and as part of the work, we removed and disposed of the existing carpet.
