Replacement of existing doors with new Fire Doors for HMO compliance

Scriveners Carpentry has recently been working in the London Borough of Hounslow at a House in Multiple Occupation. The house contained six individual living spaces with shared facilities.

To comply with HMO regulations each living space had to have existing doors replaced with an approved Fire Door and relevant door ironmongery.
We supplied and fitted:
- Fire-rated entrance doors
- Fire-rated hinges
- Intumescent fire and smoke strips
- Fire-rated door stops
- Overhead door closers
- Fire-rated euro-cylinder sash locks with thumb turn for emergency exit
